Five Frame Deep or Medium Nucs raised and overwintered in Fauquier County, Va.
All frames are wooden containing naturally drawn comb, or comb on plastic foundation.
All bees inspected by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Bees will be housed in a wooden or corrugated plastic transportation box for buyer to keep.
Carniolan / Italian queens selectively bred for temperament, hygienic behavior, and honey production.
Spring nucs will be available once weather conditions are favorable for the mating of queens and the
queen produces a good laying pattern. Spring nucs are typically ready the second week of May.
Overwintered nucs will be available around the second week of April once the bees have been inspected.
A $50 deposit is required per nuc.
