Ford 302 V8 Engine, Block Machined. Used in Mustangs, F100 Trucks, and Many Others
The block was machined and is ready to go. The rest needs to be finished. All parts are there, as far as I can see, other than valve covers etc/ small parts. I bought it for a project as I have some wood processing machines to power, as well as a good learning homeschooling project to do with the children. But, I am too busy to do it at this time. It was used in a truck, from I was told, before it was taken apart, blocked machined, but the rest was not finished. Engine code/ date code are: 8E10, 080E-6015-A (see last photo). Reading the code, it looks like it came from Ford Fairlane 1968, manufactured May 10, 1968.

From online description:
Ford’s legendary 302 small block V8 is renowned for its reliability, and it’s remained a staple of Ford’s lineup for over 30 years. The 302 first appeared in 1968 as the successor to the 289 small block V8. The list of cars the 302 came in is virtually endless. Perhaps the most widely known use of the 302 V8 is its use in Ford Mustangs and Mercury Cougars. However, those legendary sports cars only scratch the surface of where they can be found. The 302 was used in many Ford passenger vehicles, including the Ford Fairlaine, Torino, Ranchero, Fairmont, and Crown Victoria. On the Mercury side of the spectrum, the 302 was found in the Grand Marquis, Montego, Zephyr, and Capri, among others. The 302 is also readily found in Ford trucks and vans spanning the entirety of their production.
