The Homeland Sector Leidos is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Project Manager to support Department of Defense (DoD) programs and initiives. This role combines senior-level requirements analysis with hands-on IT network and facilities management responsibilities, supporting critical mission areas across Pentagon offices, Joint Staff, and DISA infrastructures. The ideal candide brings a strong analytical background, deep familiarity with DoD organizions and processes, and demonstred ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects. This position will be in the Western-Northern, VA metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Analysis & Advisory Support
Analyze actual and predictable operional activities reled to military, governmental, and program systems to help decision-makers make better-informed choices
Conduct qualitive and quantitive analyses, including da modeling, simulions, and decision support system applicions
Prepare detailed reports and analysis in the requirements functional area for decision-makers the operional and executive levels
Advise Government representives on regulory guidance, higher headquarters directives, and requirements processes
Develop and deliver DoD-compliant documents and briefings using established temples and Action Officer (AO) processes
IT Networks, Infrastructure & Facilities Management
Assist with the execution of projects and tasks associed with IT networks and domains, including transport, end-user devices, and facilities management
Work actively with partners to identify gaps and shortfalls associed with workflows and required communicions capabilities
Assist with procurement and lifecycle management of IT resources, including self-installs and troubleshooting of equipment
Coordine with stakeholders, community partners, and Pentagon offices to ensure alignment and mission readiness
Project Leadership & Coordinion
Lead and manage entire projects or processes spanning multiple professional areas and functional disciplines
Coach, review, and delege work to junior and mid-level professionals on the team
Communice and collabore across internal team members and client stakeholders, including subcontractors and vendors
Influence project and team leaders regarding solution design, process improvements, and technical approaches
Make significant improvements to programs, processes, and solutions to enhance overall results
Required Qualificions
Bachelor's degree in a reled field or equivalent work experience (Master's degree may substitute for experience — see below)
Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience supporting DoD programs in requirements analysis, project management, or reled technical roles (or Master's degree with 6 years of prior relevant experience)
Demonstred expertise in providing resource and requirements support for DoD programs and organizions
Excellent oral and written communicion skills with the ability to present complex informion clearly to executive-level audiences
Strong familiarity with DoD missions, capabilities, organizions, and document/briefing standards
Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance (required)
Preferred Qualificions
Knowledge of DISA infrastructures and transport systems, including Global, CONUS, Pentagon, and Mark Center environments
Familiarity with DISA J6 program offices and associed processes
Prior experience working with Pentagon offices, including one or more of the following:
OSW components (Policy, I&S, A&S, DoW CIO)
Joint Staff
Chairman's Communicions Team
Secretary of Defense Communicions
Procurement and acquisition functions
Awareness of Radio Frequency (RF) and SATCOM technologies and capabilities
Familiarity with the Nional Military Command System (NMCS) and Nional Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC)
